TUSARI

This ceramic panel composition consists of five elements.  It was inspired by watercolour painting techniques as well as artistry of the Far East. The delicate background resembles handmade paper the pattern of which was brought out thanks to the soft micro-texture. Subtle brush strokes make the design feel lighter and more ethereal.
The panel owes the unique, individual and exceptional character to its fully original concept and execution. It is a story focused around the admiration of local nature, the beauty of a misty morning over a misty riverbank. 
A watercolour painting that was originally created on thick paper was translated onto a ceramic tile. 
The technology only highlights the composition’s authenticity by enhancing its luminous and light feel in selected sections (with glossy ink) and a soft micro-texture finely added into the image.  With the dominant shades of beige and warm grey, the entire design emanates with Zen-like aesthetics, creating a serene and calm atmosphere. The panel’s colour palette was carefully refined to harmoniously blend with the tones of other collections in the Senses set. 
The decorative panel perfectly complements a space in the spirit of Japandi aesthetics, modern minimalism, and wabi-sabi.
