Inspired by natural oak in its raw, organically irregular form, the collection draws on wood that is anything but uniform. The Nodo collection was created based on raw materials obtained in forests of the Trent region, where wood is distinguished by its classic character, with vivid grain and colours.
The natural material was brushed and subjected to steam processing in order to bring out the depth of the pattern and the precious high-quality structure. Next, the pattern was subtly harmonized to create a perfect balance between natural features of wood and calm aesthetics of the surface.
With the rich tonal palette, fine details, and high resolution of the imprint, the final product is elegant, restrained and refined in each colour variant (Crema, Naturale, Brown, and Ebony). Moreover, the shades in the Nodo collection were designed to work in perfect harmony with every piece of the set.
Additionally, waved wood structure was used to prevent pattern repetition and create an even more natural effect.
The entire design is complemented with a delicately inset glossy ink, thanks to which the remarkable precision of the imprint highlights selected parts of the graining. It contrasts with the matt, pleasantly tactile surface, adding elegant depth and elaborate overall character to the tile.
