The spring-summer season is the time of many festivals and picnics. Traditionally, as every year, Tomaszów Mazowiecki celebrates its holiday. This year, the holiday falls on June, 11-12. Paradyż Group is once again actively involved in the Tomaszów Days celebration.

Cutting edge machinery, replacement of production lines for manufacturing clinker, construction of new halls with three production lines, rectification equipment and surface polishing machinery - this is just a summary of results of upgrades in Ceramika Paradyż production plant in Wielka Wola (Production Plant Wielka Wola No. 2). Investments worth a total of PLN 185 million turned one of the company's oldest plants into a cutting edge site, one of the most modern ones in Europe. The opening ceremony was held on May 20th, 2011, with the participation of representatives of local authorities, public administration, the Church and international suppliers and trade partners.

Ceramika Paradyż Sp. z o.o. received the title in category "Creator of Solutions for 21st C." in this year's edition of the competition "the Ambassador of Polish Economy" organized by Business Centre Club and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The ceremonial gala at the end of the competition was held on May 16th in Warsaw, and the second reference to the awarded title was during the grand opening of the upgraded production plant of Ceramika Paradyż Sp. z o.o. in Wielka Wola on May 20th, 2011. The commemorative diploma was presented to the President of the Board of Ceramika Paradyż Companies by Krzysztof Borkowski, BCC's chancellor for Łódź region.

Ceramika Paradyż Sp. z o.o. was one of the twelve companies to be awarded the prestigious emblem "Investor in Human Capital 2011". The ceremony of awarding the diplomas took place on May 16th during the 13th edition of the "Kongres Kadry" event and the 40th IFTDO World Conference & Expo in Warsaw. The second iteration of the event took place during the ceremony in Wielka Wola, where 450 guest from Poland and abroad participated in the opening of the upgraded production plant. On behalf of the program organizer the diploma was presented to Iwona Melka-Skołd, Paradyż Group HR Director, by Grzegorz Filipowicz.

Paradyż Group Companies underwent a re-certification audit of the integrated management systems. The audit was held for the ISO 9001 Quality Management System integrated with ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and OHS Management System conforming to PN-N 18001 and OHSAS 18001. The certification body assessed these systems positively and awarded the interested companies with certifications for the next 3 years.
