Pearly Paradyż Group
January 26, in Poznań during the International Fair „Budma 2012”, odbyła się finałowa gala konkursu „Perły Ceramiki UE 2011”. an award ceremony of the “Perły Ceramiki UE 2011” [Pearls of EU Ceramics] contest took place. Paradyż Group received 18 awards! For the largest number of awards and nominations – Pearls of EU Ceramics 2011 and Pearls of Ceramics – Distributors 2011 – the company received a WIELKA PERŁA CERAMIKI UE 2011 Z DIAMENTAMI [GRAND PEARL OF EU CERAMICS 2011 WITH DIAMONDS], which was received by the Group CEO – Paweł Łuczka.
To receive such a large amount of awards in one of the most important contests in the ceramics industry is a large success for the entire Paradyż Group. It is also highly motivating to increase our efforts as it sets the bar high before the next year’s contest. In 2011, we focused on developing our Premium brand - My Way. All awards granted to this product group attest that our product strategy was on the mark – says Rafał Domaradzki, R&D Center Director for Paradyż Group.
The „Perły Ceramiki UE” [Pearl of EU Ceramics] contest recognizes the tile collection with outstanding design, richness of elements, top quality as well as the use of innovative technological solutions. The contest consists of two stages. During first stage, the jury consisting of industrial design professionals and representatives of the editorial staff nominate products for three equally ranked editions. Whereas in the second stage, the jury grants the title of „Perła Ceramiki UE” [Pearl of EU ceramics] to the best collection. On the other hand, a professional jury consisting of representatives of ceramic tile distributing companies select the collections which achieved the highest sales success on the market and grant them the title „Perła Ceramiki Dystrybutorów” [Pearl of Ceramics - Distributors].
During this year’s eight edition of the contest, collections were divided into two pricing categories: standard – tiles priced up to 80 zł, and premium – tiles priced above 80 zł. In standard class, the following collections by Paradyż Group received the Perły Ceramiki UE 2011 [Pearls of EU Ceramics 2011]: Meisha/Garam, Artable/Arole, Vivida, Vermilia, and in premium class: Velatia, Ebano by My Way, Santa Caterina by My Way, Noce by My Way, Wenge by My Way, Masto and Tarant Perły Ceramiki Dystrybutorów UE 2011 [Pearls of Ceramics – Distributors 2011] were awarded to the collections: Vivida, Meisha/Garam, Velatia, Ebano by My Way, Santa Caterina by My Way, Noce by My Way and Taranto.
The jury has awarded 26 „Perła Ceramiki UE 2011” [Pearls of EU Ceramics 2011], awards in total, and 10 „Perła Ceramiki Dystrybutorów 2011”[Pearls of Ceramics – Distributors 2011] awards. Among the prizewinners were 11 manufacturers – 8 domestic and 3 foreign. However, the big winner of the whole contest, both in this year’s edition and throughout the history of the „Perły Ceramiki UE” awards is Paradyż Group. The company won 11 „Perła Ceramiki UE 2011” awards, 7 „Perła Ceramiki Dystrybutorów 2011” awards as well as the main prize, that is „Wielka Perłę Ceramiki UE 2011 z Diamentami” [Grand Pearl of Eu Ceramics 2011 with diamonds]. Paradyż Group has won this award for the 7th time in the 8-year history of the contest. The entire event was organized by the editors of the quarterly “Wokół Płytek Ceramicznych” [Around the ceramic tiles].
The success of Paradyż Group on the Perły Ceramiki gala honors all our employees who were involved in design, implementation and advertising of our tiles – concludes Rafał Domaradzki.
